Hunter Street forms the northern perimeter of Hobart's picturesque Victoria Dock, where dozens of fishing boats berth between voyages to the Southern Ocean.
Once home to the legendary IXL Jam factory, Hunter Street's warehouses today house the multi-award winning Henry Jones Art Hotel, where a new sense of luxury accommodation awaits. This world class waterfront hotel offers 50 suites, acclaimed Steam Packet restaurant, and the funky IXL Long Bar. Surrounding businesses include quality art galleries, a fashion boutique, and trendy eateries serving some of Tasmania's finest produce.

Take the time to explore IXL Design for stunning furniture and design, or venture behind the streetscape to discover the much celebrated Masterpiece Gallery, dealing in some of Australia's most important colonial and contemporary art.
